honestly scrolling through matches the other night and it hit me how stupid it is that everything starts with the pictures. you swipe right on someone cute, match, and then try to act normal in the chat but you can already tell half the time its not gonna go anywhere because the whole thing is built on that first visual judgment. conversations feel forced or people get weirdly picky over nothing. idk it just sucks the fun out of it. started imagining if apps made you talk first and only showed the profile after youd already had a few decent exchanges. might actually let you connect with someone before deciding if their face matches the vibe or whatever. probably a dumb idea but it keeps popping into my head lately. am i alone on this or does anyone else wish it worked more like that
